ATM’s

Money can be drawn from ATM’s, these are located in the same sort of places you would expect to find them in the UK.  There is generally a charge of a couple of dollars for cash withdrawals, unless you are a member of that bank.

Credit cards

All major cards are taken, there is no chip and pin system, but you will need to sign a debit slip.  It's important you contact your bank or CC company to advise you will be travelling to the US, I have had my card stopped before, this leads to a long expensive call to the UK to clear your spending.

Travellers cheques are like cash and widely accepted in restaurants etc.

Dollars are best pre-orderd online, you will get a much better rate than just turning up at a foreign currency desk.
